It's that time again! Sign up to be a 2007 Summer Meltdown Volunteer
Volunteers are essential to the Summer Meltdown.
We have
approximately 100 volunteer positions and they fill up fast.
Volunteers are required to work three 3-hr shifts. In exchange,
you receive a weekend pass, several meals, early festival
admittance, and a festival t-shirt . . . also, don't underestimate
the satisfaction
of
being part of the magic we call Meltdown.
Volunteers must be available for the entire weekend. This
means arriving on Thursday and leaving on Sunday.
Positions and shifts are not guaranteed, but we do try to
accommodate
your preferences when possible.
Some pre- and post-event positions are available, mainly
to volunteers from previous years. Be warned that these are
not CAKE positions and will likely add up to many more hours
work than standard volunteer shifts. We are admittedly shameless
in our exploitation of free labor.
